Last weekend, McCulloch Junior High School’s band and choir students traveled to Elwood to compete in the annual ISSMA organizational contest, earning three Gold ratings!

The Honors Choir took on an extra challenge this year: competing in the most difficult division (Group I), usually only done by high school groups. And they rose to the challenge, earning a Gold with Distinction, the highest rating given at the competition!

The Honor Band also earned Gold with Distinction, competing in Group III. And the Concert Choir earned a Gold rating, competing in Group III.

Congratulations to these talented, hard-working students and their teachers!
