Tickets are now on sale for Hadestown, a captivating musical that intertwines two timeless myths with a powerful story of love, hope, sacrifice, and the choices we make when faced with impossible odds.
Inspired by the ancient Greek myths of Orpheus and Eurydice and Hades and Persephone, Hadestown follows young musicians Orpheus and Eurydice as their love is tested by the harsh realities of the world below. When Eurydice is drawn into the underworld, Orpheus sets out to bring her home, facing Hades, Persephone, and a world where love, hope, and freedom come at a price.
Blending folk, jazz, blues, and New Orleans-inspired musical influences, Hadestown creates a rich theatrical world that feels both ancient and completely contemporary. With its unforgettable music, poetic storytelling, and deeply human characters, the musical asks audiences to consider what we are willing to risk for the people and things we believe in — and whether we can find the courage to keep telling the story even when we know how it ends.
