MJH honors choir and honors band earn top rating at annual ISSMA competition; concert choir brings home gold

In March, McCulloch Junior High School’s band and choir students traveled to Elwood to compete in the annual ISSMA organizational contest, and brought home impressive awards!

MJH took well over 100 musicians to compete this year at the J/M/E organizational contest.

The 7th/8th grade honors choir earned the highest rating in the most difficult division, a Gold with Distinction in Group I. The 7th/8th grade concert choir earned Gold in Group III.   

The MJH honors band also earned the highest rating, Gold with Distinction, competing in Group III. 

Congratulations to these talented, hard-working students and their teachers!
