Team Teaching

English, math, science and social studies are teamed for purposes of curriculum coordination and student individualization. Each team of four teachers shares a common preparation period and common group of students.

Grow is built between 2nd period and 3rd period, this is a 30 minute time for students to complete homework, receive additional academic support, prepare for ISTEP testing, participate in reading time as well as additional accelerated activities.

Student Leadership

Students at McCulloch Junior High School have opportunities to participate in several leadership-building activities. Student Council, class officers, peer tutors, office helpers, technology and library helpers all occupy positions of responsibility. Active involvement in extracurricular opportunities also enhances student leadership skill.
