News Blog Category - News McCulloch Junior High School is bringing local professionals together to put on a career exploration seminar for students.

The day will allow students to select three different speaker sessions to attend, choosing from more than 40 different presentations by local and regional professionals. There will be a wide range of careers represented, from mechanic, to fitness instructor, to state senator, to veterinarian, and many more.

In addition, there will be a keynote speaker and a panel focused on “soft skills” and other important career-related topics.

The seminar will be on the morning of May 15. Marion Community Schools and McCulloch Junior High School aim to prepare students for lifelong learning, whether they take the path to college or a more direct route to a career. We are pleased to be able to connect local professionals with students, to show them the many options available right here in Marion and around the region, and also to give students perspective as they begin to plan for their own futures.
